From within his mad laboratory of lobotomy, he warns, "The doctor is in-SANE!" If you aren't familiar with this mad doctor, then you should be. Today I present Dr. Gangrene, host of Chiller Cinema which debuted in July 1999 and due to its overwhelming popularity, was moved to Nashville's UPN station and extended to a two hour format in 2003. The good doctor has garnered two Rondo Hattan Awards and has even appeared in the Dick Tracy comic strip. A ghost writer at Scary Monsters magazine, Larry Underwood, assists Dr. Gangrene in compiling his morbid memoirs. Dr. Gangrene is also an advocate of environ-MENTAL awareness; hosting several ghastly PSA announcements. He advises to always curb your genetic mutations and to recycle your beakers and test tubes. So remember to go green with Dr. Gangrene or he'll schedule you for surgery… tomorrow!

Portrait of "Oogsley" by Bradley Beard.
"Oogsley" - biography (taken from Bradley Beard's Facebook page)
His history is a bit of a mystery. Tonight I present Oogsley, lab assistant to Dr. Gangrene, host of Chiller Cinema in Nashville, TN. According to Dr. Gangrene, "No one knows where he came from, he just slavishly assists me". Many rumors persist about his background. Oogsley's family supposedly comes from "the Old Country" and they've been involved in "the business" for centuries. Oogsley's father, it seems, came with the highest of recommendations from the Frankenstein family. Rumor has it that one of his uncle's was the right paw man of Dr. Moreau and his other uncle assisted Dr. Jack Griffin with his experiments in invisibility, which can't be substantiated because no one ever saw him again. Whatever his background, one thing's for certain, Oogsley had the mad skills necessary to make him the proper lab assistant for Dr. Gangrene.
