2000X

HARLAN ELLISON



"2000X" was a science fiction hosted radio anthology series, with Harlan Ellison as host; and were adaptations of futuristic stories from noted authors. The series was released by National Public Radio, with 49 plays of various lengths in 26 one hour shows. The series was broadcast weekly from 2 April 2000 until 26 September 2000; and later released on the internet.

Yuri Rasovsky and Harlan Ellison were the producers and directors for the series, winning the 2001 Bradbury Award from the Science Fiction Writers of America for their work on "2000X".

HARLAN ELLISON

Harlan Jay Ellison was born on 27 May 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio, USA; and passed away on 28 June 2018 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Ellison was a writer, with his published works including more than 1,700 short stories, novellas, screen plays, graphic novel scripts, teleplays, and essays. His work includes the 1967 Star Trek episode "The City on the Edge of Forever".
