"Katarina's Nightmare Theater" and "Katarina's Kat's Skratch Action Cinema" (aka Katarina's Kat Skratch Cinema) were direct-to-dvd hosted anthology series featuring horror, science fiction, fantasy, crime, comedy and action movies. Both series were hosted by Katarina Severen. "Katarina's Nightmare Theater" ran from 2011 until 2018, with 36 episodes. Katarina Severen hosted the show as Katarina Leigh Waters. "Katarina's Kat's Skratch Action Cinema" ran from 2012 until 2013, with at least five episodes. Many of the episodes from both shows are available on Ebay. Katarina Severen, a former professional wrestler, was born on 10 November 1977 in Luneburg, Germany. Severen has a BA Hons degree in Film & Drama from St. John's University College in York, United Kingdom. She is an actress, stunt performer, writer and director and has produced her own short films as well as a web-series. Severen has written several feature scripts, one of which advanced to the quarter finals in the Stage 32 Action/Thriller Screenwriting Contest and is in a Top 10 Finalist in the Emerging Screenwriters Suspense Screenplay Competition.
